Christian website chosen for British Library project

The award-winning Christian community website Network Norwich & Norfolk has been selected to participate in a web archiving programme by the British Library as part of the wider UK Web Archiving Consortium

Just over 5,000 websites are currently archived.

Network Norfolk web editor, Keith Morris, said on his website: “We are delighted to have been selected to participate in this prestigious project by the British Library.

“Our website aims to be the number one source of digital information about the Norwich and Norfolk Christian community and we are glad that it has been recognised as a site of significance and relevance to the UK.”

Earlier this year, the Norfolk website was named Surefish UK Regional Church Website of the Year 2009 and in 2006 also won the title Best Regional Religious Website in the county from the Churches Media Council.
