KOVA International are excited to tell you about the newest faith film hitting UK and Irish cinemas on June 14th, the uplifting tale of courage and compassion, UNSUNG HERO.

From the studio that brought you Jesus Revolution and I Can Only Imagine, Unsung Hero tells the story of the Smallbone family as they journey from Australia to America, searching for a brighter future and trusting God and each other through the adventure.

We know that in order to be able to bring Christian content to mainstream cinemas in the UK and Ireland we need the support of Christians, churches and faith organisations. We truly believe that this story of faith and resilience deserves space on the big screen and so we would love it if you could help! An uplifting true story of courage and compassion, "UNSUNG HERO" makes its debut in cinemas across the UK and Ireland. Produced by Kingdom Story Company, this inspiring biopic is a  powerful story of resilience and hope.
Set against the backdrop of Nashville in the early 1990s, the feature follows the journey of David Smallbone as he moves his family from Australia to the United States, searching for a brighter future. With their six children and nothing more than suitcases, and their love of music, David and his pregnant wife Helen set out to rebuild their lives.
David and Helen begin to realise the musical prowess in their children, who would go on to become two of the most successful acts in Inspirational Music history: five-time GRAMMY Award®-winning artists for KING + COUNTRY and Rebecca St. James.
"UNSUNG HERO" delivers captivating performances that will resonate with audiences of all ages. Through Director Joel Smallbone’s compelling storytelling and authentic portrayal of human emotion, the film invites viewers to reflect on the true meaning of hope and sacrifice.
