Because 2020 pandemic restrictions put christenings on hold for a while, it’s now more important than ever to raise public awareness that churches are open and able to offer baptisms or thanksgiving services for the moment when a child arrives in a family.
Place these posters up inside and outside your church and, with the relevant permission, around your local community to encourage more enquiries from families about these services. Place where families will most likely see them – for example at toddler groups, nurseries, in shop windows or noticeboards, in doctors’ surgeries, drop-in clinics, play centres and community centres.
