John Catling Allen
The author was an Anglican parish priest until retirement. He is also
the author of other educational books, including The Journeys of St Paul
and has conducted countless tours, particularly in the near and Middle
East. As a result he built up the J Catling Allen photo library and for
many years was a Swan Hellenic guest lecturer.
